Here's a bit about me...
Growing up on the Southside of St. Louis, with a cooking family, I found my gift early. My pallet was shaped by Creole influences via my family passing around generation-old Louisiana recipes. It seemed like everything started with a "RUE", or had the "Holy Trinity" in it!​
I remember some of my first times cooking, they were with my father. I was in the kitchen at an early age. My father is a strong black man, and one of my biggest inspirations. My cooking style is deeply rooted in my upbringing. Southern cuisine is something that will never escape my tastebuds as my grandmother cooked with a heavy-country-hand. Later in life my father would introduce me to Italian flavors, and out of curiosity I started to test Creole-Italian fusions.
Currently I juggle multiple hats between business ventures, as I am the Executive Chef at Barcode Grill and the Owner of Two Times Catering. Professionally I have had the opportunity to launch and nurture multiple restaurants and lounges in the St. Louis area. My 10+ years of experience has defiantly prepped me for the future. As a former Food & Beverage Director of multiple hotels coupled with my chef experience, launching a unique bed and breakfast destination is my next adventure.

Because it changed my life...
We all know that things seem cliche until it works for us! At the end of 2022 I felt sluggish and heavy. I knew that something had to change. I started to prep food and take things out of my diet. It felt right. I was not a fan of pork or beef, and I started fasting. One thing about me, I am gonna cook good food. However my relationship with food had to change. My peers stated to ask what I was doing. I shared. Shortly I started to prep for close friends. Now here we are! Prepping for you soon possibly...​
